Stories of the Bones | Atkins, AR
Residing on a 3rd+ generation family farm in the Arkansas Ozarks, I love to create magical tools from things found on my land. Being "land tied" means I feel a deep connection to the trees, rocks and animals that inhabit this land. Using sustainably harvested bones from the animals that live here, we marry those with Arkansas Quartz crystals and other stones, driftwood from the Arkansas River or local lakes and streams plus a bit of my own artistic design to create unique magical tools. I can tell you the stories of each one of the pieces so you can Listen, Honor, and Remember.
Briar Unbound Bookbinding | Hot Springs, AR
There are many things that make Briar Unbound journals unique but what makes them special is our un-binding process. Briar Unbound‘s journals are a mix of hand dyed, vintage, and other speciality acid-free papers and use traveler’s style elastic binding for each journal so every signature can be replaced when it’s full, added to, or re-arranged. Each journal is lovingly handmade and will have slight variations. Briar Unbound also carries a selection of origami art made from the scraps of their journal making, feather quills, glass dip pens and inks, and wax seal stamps and wax sealing accessories in many styles
